Sam "Sammy" Cerrato - Lead vocals & Percussion

Sammy has been singing from before he can even remember. Born & raised in New Jersey, he would ask his Father to turn the volume up on the radio in the car to sing along to the tunes from the 60’s and 70’s.Some of Sammy's influences include Freddie Mercury, Steve Miller, Joe Jackson, Phillip Bailey, Bobby Darin, Dion and Frankie Valli. In the summer of 2013, Sammy had a vision to put together a Joe Jackson Tribute band to bring the early hits of the 70s/80s icon to his fans in the U.S. I'm The Man IS that vision. Sammy started out his "professional" music career back in 1978 with the famous Cranford band, Blue Ace. He has most recently played with local bands Flashback Syndicate, The Voodoo Yahoos and Shiftwork. He is also the lead singer of the Classic Rock Band - The Classic Hitmen.

Andrew “Andj” Stainer - Guitar, Bass Guitar, Glockenspiel, Percussion & Backing Vocals

Andj began playing classical guitar as a 6-year-old, but as he grew, the lure of rock and roll proved to be too strong to avoid. During the 1980s, he was member of the band, Wax Poetic. The group morphed into the female-fronted prog-rock outfit known as Arc of Ones, having a CD produced by John Palumbo of Crack The Sky fame. Within the past 10 years, he has been a member of the Treading Lemmings, and saw the release of two CDs and one vinyl record. Andj is a huge Joe Jackson fan and jumped at the chance to join I'm The Man! He is also currently a member of the Steam Punk band Night Watch Paradox as well as a member of The Classic Hitmen.

Marshall "Doc" Madow - Drums, Percussion

Marshall began playing the drums at age 11 (shortly after realizing his brain was not “wired” for the piano). He has played in various local bands since Junior High School and is also a member of The Classic Hitmen. Though his musical tastes can be described as “all over the place,” Marshall discovered Joe Jackson as a student at the University of Maryland – College Park, and Joe has remained one of his favorite musicians of all time, having seen him live more times than he can remember.

Harvey "Wild Thing" Kojan - Piano/Keyboards & Backing Vocals

Harvey was born in the rural utopia of Brooklyn, New York where he spent his formative years receiving regular (and well-deserved) beatings from the neighborhood thugs. The abuse only increased when they discovered he was taking piano lessons. After wasting four years of his parents’ hard-earned money partying his way through college, Harvey further embarrassed them by embarking upon a duo of dubious careers: radio personality and rock musician. The former ultimately brought him to Baltimore’s classic rock station, 100.7 the Bay, where he received regular (and well-deserved) beatings until he was finally shown the door. A longtime Joe Jackson fan, he jumped at the chance to join I’m The Man. Strangely, his fellow musicians seem to tolerate him, at least as long as he’s buying. He is also a member of The Classic Hitmen.

Ed Cartagena - Bass Guitar

Welcome Ed Cartagena to the band. He will be taking on the monumental task of handling the Graham Maby bass lines. Ed is a huge Graham Maby fan and has met the challenge head on. He hails from NYC and has done lots of studio work in New York and Nashville. He has played with Victoria Shaw (songwriter for Garth Brooks, John Michael Montgomery & Ricky Martin) and played with Blues Artist Popa Chubby in the Black Coffee Blues Band along with numerous other bands including The Classic Hitmen. Ed was featured in bass player magazine 2007 and is looking forward to playing out with I'm The Man.
